The M V Quonset, circa 1970

In 1974, I grabbed the Monkey's Fist and helped tie up the MV Manitou; I'm still tying up and loading the Block Island Ferries. I wrote a small book containing short vignettes, about my years working the ferry dock in Point Judith. The book is entitled "The Monkey's Fist" subtitled The Prince of Knots. And, I've a collection of my columns in "The Block Island Ferry Dock Scribbler."
